About Universitat de Girona

The University of Girona covers Technical Science, Humanities and Social Sciences degrees. There are about 1.000 academic staff, 500 administrative staff and 12.650 students. Nowdays, the Universitat de Girona maintains relationships and contacts with 350 European HEIs within different networks, programmes and projects. The Universitat de Girona is full member of more than 10 international networks.

At the Escola Politècnica Superior (Polytechnic School), there are three Computer Science related studies; two 3-years specialities (bachelor equivalent level): Computer Systems and Software Engineering and a 2-years 2nd cycle of general Computer Science contents (master equivalent level). The Polytechnic School also offers an electronics degree, but there is not any telecom degree. In this scenario, a network communication training programme is in the interest of our Institution.
