ESPANT

European Study Programme for Advanced Networking Technologies

ESPANT is a curriculum development project funded by the European Union's Lifelong learning Programme. The project runs from october 2008 until october 2010.

The study program will try to provide an additional level of knowledge for students that already have gathered 180 or more ECTS points in a related study program. Espant will be a modular and jointly developed, competence based study programme, built around six units.

    Unit 1: Networking Infrastructures    
    Unit 2: Security    
    Unit 3: Wireless Communications    
    Unit 4: Network Storage and IT Quality Aspects
    Unit 5: Real Time Multimedia    
    Unit 6: System Management    

      After finishing the project, the programme in advanced networking technologies will be implemented. Once the programme is running in the participating institutions, several other institutions across Europe will be invited to participate in this study programme by copying and providing the different modules (read more)
